The municipality of Radeče is located in the northeastern part of the Posavina Hills. It is bordered by the Sava River and the Limestone-Dolomite "Lower Triglav" - Kum (1220 m) and Lisca (948 m). The original settlement, the square and later the town were created at the confluence of the Sopot river with Sava.
