at 21 km and Kaposvár at 25 km. Especially in the latter you will find
everything that a larger city can offer. From the well-known retail
chains to a cozy centre, schools, sports facilities, hospital,
restaurants, etc. In an hour you can be at the Balaton (Siófók) for a
day of water fun and then back to the tranquillity of Várong. The area
surrounding Várong is beautifully green and somewhat hilly.
