Geographical location
The Island of Evia
The position of Evia in Greece is east of the mainland. It is connected to it, except the sea through Glyfa or Akitsas, via the high bridge of Chalkis or the old bridge of Evripos. So, although it is an island, access to it is not entirely dependent on weather, air or sea.
Northern Evia is still unexplored and untouched by the massive turnout of tourists. Those who discover it become fanatical fans mainly for the wonderful nature, the tranquility, the calm sea of Evoikos Gulf and the Aegean Sea and the mountainous landscapes and villages just a few kilometers distance between them. You will find picturesque villages, friendly people and you will taste local products such as wine, edible olives, olive oil, fresh fish and seafood, yogurt, cheese etc.
On the way through Chalkida you will find yourself among the plane trees and pine trees, and after a few kilometers you will look at the Evoikos Gulf or the Aegean Sea, depending on your destination.
Fragaki
A few kilometers north of the bustling beach of Agia Anna, you find the beach of Fragaki, which is the port of the village of Achladi. The beach, large in size and with a crystal clear Aegean seawater, combines perfectly the mountain with the sea. There are cafes and taverns, rooms to let and small hotels. The tourist traffic is mild, the hospitality is "from the heart"!
Fragaki settlement is ideal for nature-related activities such as cycling, hiking, horse riding, swimming and all kinds of water sports. Fragaki is a peaceful place.
Agali
Agali is the closest and most organized area. The distance is 5 minutes (by motorized vehicle).
In Agali there are many rooms to let and well-organized camping as well as a well-known resort that offers high-quality services at many levels as food, receptions, cruises to the nearby Sporades islands, services that anyone can enjoy.
